CMC future events in 2014
  • 9 May2014: CMC President presented on the Guideline for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the National Day of Midwife on 9 May 2014.
  • 1-5 June 2014: CMC President  presented on the role of CMC in implementing a code of ethics for midwives to protect women and their newborn’s health and safety in the ICM 30th Congress in Prague, Czech Republic from 1-5 June 2014.
  • 5-6 July 2014: Phase 1: New Electronic Registration Database Training
  • 14 July 2014: Internal procedure and policy for complaint and disciplinary about midwife was amended by national legal consultant and Meeting with MoH toapprove guidance and procedure for complaint about midwife 14 Jul 14.
  • 1 Aug 2014: Second Consultative Meeting on Guidance and Procedure for Dealing with Complaint about Midwife.
  • 13-15 August 2014: Training on how to conduct complaint and disciplinary procedure to NMC and RMC Phnom Penh members.  
  • 23-24 August 2014: Phase 2: New Electronic Registration Database Training
  • 27-29 August 2014: Training on how to conduct complaint and disciplinary procedure to RMC Stung Treng and Kompong Cham members held in Kompong Cham Province.  
  • 4-September 2014: Dissemination Workshop on Core Competency Framework for Midwives in Phnom Penh
  • 13-14 September 2014: Phase 3: New Electronic Registration Database Training
  • 15-17 September 2014: Training on how to conduct complaint and disciplinary procedure to RMC Battambang and Kompot members held in Pursat Province.
  • 21 November 2014: Launching Ceremony on Prakas on Core Competency Framework for Midwives held at Sunway Hotel.
  • 26 November 2014: Annual General Meeting held in Komot Province.

  • Code of Ethics dissemination workshops were held as follows:  1) Siem Reap (29 April), 2) Kompong Thom (10 May), 3) Kompong Chhnang ( 12 July), 4) Battambang (5 September), 5) Kompong Cham (5 December), 6) Kompot  ( 17 December),  7) Phnom Penh ( 27 December), & 8) Kandal (2-3 January)
